Dr. Peter Ireland鈥檚 areas of research interest are macroeconomics and monetary economics, both nationally and worldwide, with special emphasis on Federal Reserve policy and its effects on financial markets and the economy. Widely published in financial and economic journals, Dr. Ireland is a Research Associate with the National Bureau of Economic Research, a member of the Shadow Open Marke
